This fable's maxim is that looks can be misleading. I say this because the wolf made himself look like one of the sheep's and the sheep bought it! The sheep soon was eaten by the wolf. The wolfs look was misleading the sheep thought he was one of them but he wasn't and soon was dead.

This fable's maxim is that you stand together but you fall together too. I say this because the oxen's stayed together and when the lion got them they fell together. They stood together and fell together.

This fables maxim is when you do something little by little you get more. I say this because the crow put the pebbles little by little but he got that water and he got more. so I say when you do something little by little you get more.

The Fox and The Goat

This fable has maxim is to not trust a person in need. I say this because the fox was stuck so he told sheep to come just because he needed to come out. He trapped the sheep in his place so he can get out. This means to never trust someone that's in need because that person may just say something to get his/her own way.

A few interesting facts I learned about this article is that chimps and humans start out with almost the same chromosomes. Also, until I read this article I did not know that chimps and humans also have the same number of genes. The fact that their genomes that code for genes only differ by 1.2% blows my mind. I have always known that chimps are mammals so it shouldn't have surprised me but somehow it did. The thing that didn't surprise me but I did not know was that humans and chimps are 98.8% the same! So basically we are like chimps. That's pretty cool. I also did not know that the way our human bodies and chimps bodies produce protein are only 3% different. These facts tell me that chimps are very much like humans. This tells me that my 46 chromosomes and chimps 48 chromosomes are very alike only differed by 1.2% Plus, I did not know that one of the human chromosomes is really made up of 2 of the chimp chromosomes (or vice versa). I have learned so many facts that just amazes my mind.
Therefore, I have learned many facts from this interesting article by Flo Pauli. All the mind blowing facts that I have learned about how humans have 46 chromosome and chimps have 48 chromosome and if chimps have more or less genes than us are listed above. This article taught me new facts about chromosome and genes especially between chimps and humans.

The lesson this story teaches is that you should treat others the way you want to be treated. I say this because in the story it tells us that the son and daughter-in-law put the grandfather to the side when it was dinner time, the grandson saw and watched quietly, after he was in the process of making wooden bowls for his parents, when the parents found out what he was making it changed their point of view towards their grandfather. They saw that they don't want to be treated like that when they grow old and become weak. So they changed and treated the grandfather they would want to be treated. They treated him like a human he was. This story relates to C.A.R.E.S by empathy. I say this because at first they weren't feeling empathy for the grandfather when they put him at a different table. They started to feel empathy for the grandfather after the son told them what he was doing, they felt upset. Therefore, the lesson this story teaches is that you should treat others the way you want to be treated. This relates to C.A.R.E.S by empathy, the reasons are listed above.
